School Meals
We provide a 2 course hot school dinner each day, provided by our catering company – abm catering.
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM) as part of a government initiative.
When a child enters KS2 (Years 3-6), the cost of a hot school dinner is £2.40 per day. Pupils who are entitled to income related Free School Meals, continue to receive a free school meal.

How to book (& pay) for a school dinner
The school uses an on-line booking & payment system through www.ParentPay.com and all meals must be booked in advance. Log-in details will be provided by the school office when your child joins the school. If you do not have a log-in, please contact the school office.
If you cannot remember your password to use the system, please contact the school office who will reset your password.

Special Diets, Allergies or other Medical Conditions
abm catering ltd (our school meal provider), are very conscious of varying dietary requirements and the needs of the children they serve food to.
At the very core of abm catering ltd is the desire to provide a service of safe, fresh, nutritious food. They hold strong values to ensure that our young people have the opportunity to receive a healthy and filling meal at school every day.
They believe that it is very important that every child can receive a balanced and wholesome meal irrespective of their dietary requirements. For this reason, they have devised a procedure for special diets which ensures that staff are provided with the knowledge and understanding of any specific dietary requirement and that an alternative menu can be provided where necessary.
It is very important that this special diet procedure is followed for any child who has any food allergies or other medical requirements.

Milk
Milk is free to all children under 5 years of age. Once your child reaches 5 years of age, you have the option to pay for milk to be provided each day through The School Milk Services Ltd (telephone 01934 510950).
Please speak to your child’s class teacher or the school office if your child has an allergy or intolerance to dairy products.

Fruit Tuck
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are provided with a free piece of fruit or a vegetable snack during morning break.
Water
Children are encouraged to bring a filled water bottle to school each day. School water bottles can be purchased from the school office for £2.00 each and you can also purchase replacement lids for £0.75.
