mosquito-smBarrs Court offer a VAST number of After School Clubs and Lunchtime Clubs. For each club the day and time, which year group/s and who runs the club is shown below.

Tag Rugby

Boys and girls learn the skills and disciplines of tag rugby and play small sided games during training.  Those children showing particular ability in the sport are selected for the school team who play in a number of competitive matches and tournaments throughout the school year.

Football

Netball

Boys and girls learn the skills and disciplines of netball and play small sided games during training.  Those children showing particular ability in the sport are selected for the school team who play in a number of competitive matches and tournaments throughout the school year.

Wake Up Shake Up Club

The school sport ambassadors (pupil sport leaders) lead an aerobic fitness club for selected children across the school twice a week at lunchtimes.

 Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes. Selected Year 3/4 Miss Harris (Teacher), Mr Walker (Teacher), Sports Ambassadors (Pupils)

 

Huff and Puff Club

The Huff and Puff Leaders (Year 6 pupil sport leaders) lead a number of outdoor structured activities for children in KS1 twice a week at lunchtimes.

Monday and Wednesday lunchtimes. Selected Year 1/2 Miss Harris (Teacher), Huff & Puff Leaders (pupils)

Change 4 Life Club

Selected children across the school are invited to take part in this after school club to improve fitness and increase awareness of what constitutes a healthy lifestyle.

Music Video Club

Children will plan and star in their own music video. Take a look at the film that the previous club made along with comments from the parents.

Thursday after school 3:15pm to 4:15pm Year 1-6 Mrs Darling (Teacher)

Introduction:

The children in the club were involved in all stages of the music videos: from deciding the ideas for the shots to the dance routines, costumes, filming and editing. Both films are all their own work and are fantastic!
