Science has an important role to play in developing the whole child. It encourages qualities such as curiosity, perseverance and critical thinking. Science is exciting as it thrives on exploration, interaction and exchange of ideas, which in turn enhances understanding and enthusiasm.
Wherever possible, Science is made relevant to pupils by relating it to their everyday experiences. Practical exploration, discovery and investigation of the world in which we live form the basis of our science curriculum.
