Cohort 2026 Parent and Carer Visits

Welcome to our new page for those of you who may choose Barrs Court Primary School for your child starting school in September 2026.

As school applications will begin after the summer break, you may be deciding if this school is the one for you.  We will publish our tour dates for September - January in Term 6, so please keep a look out for these.

We will be offering school tours for families of children who are starting in Reception in September 2026.

You will receive a tour of the Reception Classes and whole school facilities as well as have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Tour groups are limited to 10 families and therefore we kindly ask that a maximum of 2 people per family attend to ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to visit.

To attend a tour (once dates are published), you need to book by emailing or telephoning the school office with your preferred date/time. 

The tour is aimed at parents/carers and we understand that some parents/carers will want to bring their children on the tour, although some may prefer to come on their own for this initial visit.

Choosing the right school for your child(ren) is a big decision and we are keen to discuss any specific questions you may have to help make your decision.  If you have any follow-up questions/queries following your school tour, Mr Webster, the Reception team, our SENDCo and office team are always willing to discuss these further if necessary.
