About Us

School meals, milk and fruit

We provide a 2 course hot school dinner each day, provided by our catering company – Caterlink Ltd

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM) as part of a government initiative.

When a child enters KS2 (Years 3-6), the cost of a hot school dinner is £2.90 per day. Pupils who are entitled to income-related Free School Meals, continue to receive a free school meal.

More information can be found on whether you are entitled to claim Free School Meals here. If you are unsure and would like to speak to someone about Free School Meals, please speak confidentially to a member of the office team.

How to book (& pay) for a school dinner

The school uses an on-line booking & payment system through the Arbor Parent Portal and all meals must be booked in advance.   If your child is bringing a ‘packed lunch from home’, please also book this onto the Arbor Parent Portal by selecting this option for the day(s) that your child is having packed lunch.  This helps the school office identify any children who do not have a lunch provision quickly to make sure that they have the meal of their choice on that day.  Thank you for your support.

Log-in details will be provided by the school office when your child joins the school.  If you do not have a log-in, please contact the school office.

If you cannot remember your password to use the system, please contact the school office who will reset your password.

Special Diets, Allergies or other Medical Conditions

Caterlink Ltd (our school meal provider), are very conscious of varying dietary requirements and the needs of the children they serve food to.

Caterlink focus ‘on creating balanced, delicious meals that meet nutritional standards while supporting learning and wellbeing. From young children discovering new flavours to older students with growing appetites, every menu is designed to inspire healthy eating habits that last a lifetime’.

The catering team is fully trained in allergen management. If your child has a food allergy, please complete the Food Allergy & Intolerance Form online - CTL - Food Allergy & Intolerance Form V2 as soon as possible.   Please note that this will need to be accompanied with medical evidence (please follow this link for more information).  You will only complete this form once whilst your child is at our school, unless there is a change in their allergy/medical condition.

When completing the form, please use our Unique Unit Number - 7790

It is very important that this special diet procedure is followed for any child who has any food allergies or other medical requirements.

Pupils with a lifestyle or religious ‘Dietary Preference’ (such as halal or vegan) will not need to complete the Food Allergy & Tolerance Form.  This information is captured in the Arbor system and will be shared with Caterlink.
