Results – Summer 2025

Children in Reception, Year 1, Year 4 and Year 6 completed statuary assessments. Below you can fin the results compared to the national results from 2023. Once we have the updated national results we will update the website.  In all areas, the children at Barrs Court are achieving higher compared to children nationally. 

Year 1 Phonics Screening 

88% of the children in year passed the phonics screening in year 1. The figure for children nationall was 80%. 

Year 4 MTC 

60% of the pupils got full marks in the Multiplcation Check compared to 34% nationally. The average at Barrs Court 23.3 compared to 20.4 nationally. 

Year 6 SATS 

63% of children achived the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths (nationally 62%) 

77% of children achived the expected standard in Reading (nationally 75%)

 

 

75% of children achived the expected standard in  Writing (nationally 72%)

80% of children achived the expected standard in  Maths (nationally 74%)
